Rosie Huntington-Whiteley of Transformers 3 fame to move in with Jason Statham

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley  who replaced Megan Fox in Transformers 3, is rumored to have decided to move in with Jason Staham (of Crank & Transporter).

The 37-year-old actor started dating the 23-year-old Victoria’s Secret model in April. They have been inseparable ever since, even flying across the world to spend time with each other while Rosie filmed Transformers 3 in the US and Jason promoted his latest film The Expendables in Europe.

The couple’s work commitments are now coming to an end, and they are reportedly planning to mark the occasion by moving their romance to the next level. Jason recently bought a new mansion in Los Angeles, and has asked Rosie to move in with him.

“They seem very happy together. Rosie’s on the make and being with a big star like Jason is doing her career no harm at all,” a friend told British newspaper The Daily Mail.

“She has been excitedly telling all her friends that they are going to be moving in together.”

Jason, who previously dated British glamour model Kelly Brook, is said to be completely besotted with Rosie. He has reportedly told friends he doesn’t want to lose the model and might even consider marrying her in the future.

“Jason wants to make sure he holds on to Rosie, and moving in is a sign of his commitment to her,” the source added.

Bumblebee stands guard over Transformers fan convention in Shanghai

It seems the Transformers mania still alive and kicking in Shanghai. Bumblebee looking forward towards the 2010 Cybertron Annual Meeting, was sighted  standing guard outside the Shanghai East Asia Exhibition Hall.

What is the 2010 Cybertron Annual Meeting?? Apparently, something that will “display different generations of transformer toys to Chinese fans,” according to Xinhua. Googling the name (in Chinese) reveals that it will be held from July 30 to August 3 and is some sort of fan convention for people who really, really like Transformers.

The Bumblebee standing outside the convention center to welcome these “fanatical Transformers fans” is 7-meters tall and weighs a whopping 8-tons.

The third Transformers movie is currently being filmed in Chicago and will allegedly include car chases, gunfire and explosions. Surprise. Not mentioned if it will include another scene in Shanghai to rile up oversensitive Chinese movie watchers.

Megan Fox Would "Never" Have Done Transformers 3

•July 21, 2010 • Leave a Comment

The truth may set you free, but it also might not get you invited back to Michael Bay‘s movie set.

Despite Megan Fox‘s poor choice of words, the sentiment behind them was dead-on. Sources close to both Megan and Bay are confirming just how terrible the situation was for the smokin’ star and the hot-headed director.

megan-fox-transformers2

Read on for the dirty behind-the-scenes deets:

“Megan only got $800,000 for Transformers 2,” claims a robot-flick insider very familiar with Fox’s personal and professional dealings. “I heard her say she only got $800,000 several times, and, I guarantee you, that’s why she didn’t do the third one. She wanted more money.”

While Megan may not have been paid equal to, say, Shia LaBeouf, another source tells us the money stuff isn’t true.

“She got paid way more than that,” says a close Fox friend and ally. “This was never about money. It’s always been how she was treated as a human being, it just wasn’t good.”

No discrepancy on that from our Transformers source—like, at all:

“[Megan] would constantly complain about having to go to work, she never wanted to do it,” dishes the franchise know-it-all. “Bay would constantly sMegan-Fox-from-Transformers-917cream at her. He would scream at everyone, but especially Megan. Imagine a really, really bitchy grandmother on the set, and that’s what Michael Bay is like.”

Calls to reps for both Bay and Fox have not been returned, as yet.

M.B. certainly has the reputation around town of being very hard to work for, especially if you’re a woman.

Our Transformers insider says Megan told him: “All [Bay] wants to do is shoot my ass and my tits, I hate him!'”

While Megan’s mouthing-off ways may helped seal her Transformers 3 fate, our Fox insider adds Megan would have “never” gone back, anyway. “Not the way she was treated.”

You know what, girlfriend, if Bay was that much of a pain to work for you’re better off, right?

“She’s incredibly happy right now,” adds Megan’s pal, “she just celebrated her birthday at Matsuhisa, she was more gorgeous than she’s ever been.”

As you should be, babe! On the bright side, aren’t the third flicks on these franchises even more hideous than the second? You won’t have any problem finding roles, we heard you just had two over the weekend!

Transformers 3 now shooting @ Michigan Avenue

•July 18, 2010 • 1 Comment

MichiganAvenue_Transformers3

Cars are seen piled up in a plaza along Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago, Friday, July 16, 2010, during filming of the movie “Transformers 3.” The city says the film shoot will involve aerial photography near Trump Tower as well as stunt parachutists

Transformers 3 is filming again downtown on Michigan Avenue from Wacker Drive north to Ontario today through early Monday morning.  Michigan Av. is blocked off and as you can see in the picture, it looks like the Blues Brothers are back in town.  The streets are filled with overturned and burned out cars as well as prop rubble that makes the streets look damaged. Besides the crashed cars, there are going to be helicopter and skydiving stunts this weekend in the same area.

Shia LaBeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley are the stars of the film and they have been seen  filming scenes this weekend.  Josh Duhamel is in the movie too and has been seen riding a bicycle and resting beneath a tree between takes yesterday.

“Transformers 3” filmed some scenes in Los Angeles in May, but most of the movie is being shot in Chicago. Shooting in the city is scheduled to last through August 23.

The Shia & Megan Drama

•July 17, 2010 • Leave a Comment

Real simple… Megan Fox was NOT dumped from Trannys 3 for saying that Michael Bay wanted to be like Hitler. Bay is a lot of things, but he’s not thin-skinned in that particular way.

Megan Fox may turn out, someday, to be more than an on-screen piece of ass. There are hints that she is a conceptual thinker. But right now, that is what she is – especially in this franchise – and a fresh piece of ass, in the great horrible tradition of Hollywood, is called for. She is, in movie terms, now too old for the role.

Shia LaBeouf is an odd movie thing. He’s been in 3 worldwide blockbusters in 3 years, all of which relied on him for box office in any way. Eagle EyeDisturbia each did more business than expected, for which he certainly can take some credit. But is he a major box office stat? There is no strong indication, one way or the other. He’s Harrison Ford, in a way, in that Ford never really proved himself a box office draw of any weight until after all 3 Star Wars and 2 of the 3 Indiana Jones films were out. And then, starting with Witness, we started to see what he would become on his own head of steam. Shia’s box office story has not yet really begin to be written.

In any case, there is a BIG difference between being a truth-teller and being someone who gets a rep for biting the hand that feeds them. There is honesty. And there is stupidity.

This, friends, is stupidity.

Comparing it, as Patrick Goldstein does, to whistleblowers and war protesters, is a bit of a reach.

This is an issue of common courtesy… well, more than common, since without Michael Bay there is no boldfaced Megan Fox and without Spielberg, Shia LaBeouf is still hoping to get Holes 2 and is best known for being on Project Greenlight.

And as hypocritical as Deadline Hollywood is, in so many ways, does Patrick Goldstein really get to call anyone out for logrolling from the ultimate self-protectionist environs of the LA Times? Seriously… traditional-journalist-turned-blogger heal thyself.

The only reason Nikki Finke is still able to publish is that the industry allows her to because she is of use to so many. She is the greatest kind of lay-down… the kind that appears to the public to be not only independent, but utterly uncontrollable… the exact opposite of the truth, if you are the top exec at a company and want her in your camp. Staff… even senior staff… still get shit on daily. But the bosses want Nikki to keep doing their dirty work, so they let their employees suffer the indignity of Nikki’s insanity.

No one but a boss or someone closely aligned with a boss could survive that behavior… because there is no perceived payoff for it internally. Yes, there is kinds of bad behavior. But if your boss at a studio thinks you are not on their team, you’re soon to go away.

And that is why Nikki is in the position she is in right now… because she can do what others – people who actually control purse strings and jobs – dare not… and she gets away with it. The more she gets away with it, the more people indulge her. Quite literally a vicious circle.

Back on the talent side, i have had this conversation many, many times with high-end actors and writers and directors who were considering slicing into the studios or even producers they were working for. And in the end, each of them got it… it’s suicide.

Studios have, say, 15 slots a year, and 200 movies that actively want the slots. Except for Will Smith, Angelina Jolie, Vince Vaughn, and sometimes Johny Depp, there are no irreplaceable actors… even movie stars. So if you are running the studio, who would you hire? The kid who you turned into a worldwide star by putting him in your three massive franchises and his one other $100 million grosser, but who thinks it’s “honest” to diss your work… or someone else who might actually not piss where he lives as though he was better than the people he works with?

“Telling the truth” about the people you work with in Hollywood is almost never about honor. It is almost always a massive form of self-indulgence. “Look how big my meat is! I can diss Spielberg! Or “I can tell fans that ‘We are going to do better next time,’ even though I will read whatever words they put in front of me for that 8 figure check.”

Of course, there is always cocktail/coffee chatter between friends and even off-the-record journos. And even then, it must be taken with a grain of salt because it is one perspective on a story. But it’s a very dangerous game because if word gets back to the higher-up and they believe it to be true, forget about the next deal/job/favor/what-have-you.

And there is this… Patrick and others agree with the “truths” offered by Ms Fox and Mr LaBeouf. What if he and others did not agree with the “truths?” This is one of my mega-peeves at the media right now… too many things are being vetted or shot down because of the personal tastes or relationships of the journalists. Things are not facts because we agree with them in our gut.

Regardless, attacking the people who hand you giant sums of money is not smart in Hollywood. And really, it’s not good behavior either.

Need we be reminded about what happened to Gary Oldman when he went up against Spielberg privately and publicly? Now, his comments were much nastier than LaBeouf’s or Fox’s. And the decade in studio movie prison he spent for the bad behavior – 4 years before a single role of any size in a studio movie (Potter and then Nolan’s Batman films)… 6 more before he got a role big enough to advertise (The Book of Eli) – was perhaps too great a punishment for being a jerk and having a bit of a lunatic as his manager. But pay it he did.

Tony Kaye went after New Line publicly over American History X and hasn’t worked for an American studio since.

Both men are massive talents. Both men dug their own graves… from which both are still reemerging.

Finally, need I point out… Shia LaBeouf was in Transformers and Transformers 2. He’s about to do Trannys 3. Neither of the first films was, objectively, much better, if better at all, than Indy 4.

Hopefully, Wall Street 2 will be the best film of his career, which would make a total of maybe 4 good films out of 25 or so he’s made. At this point, the guy is, as my sister would say, all beans, no franks.

Should people be enraged by these “truths” being spoken? Why would anyone waste their times caring about what either one of these kids has to say? They’re not talking world peace… they’re talking movie smack. Yawn.

But is it good behavior… smart behavior… even fully truthful behavior? Not so much.

Transformers 3 Milwaukee filming

source : AP

The Milwaukee Art Museum reopens today, after being closed to accommodate crews filming the movie "Transformers 3."

The city was abuzz Monday and Tuesday as crews worked inside and outside of the museum, with sightings of the film’s stars Shia LaBeouf and Patrick Dempsey. Director Michael Bay was also there.

Museum spokeswoman Vicki Scharfberg said the crew was terrific and respectful of the building designed by Santiago Calatrava

She says they are thrilled the movie will come out next summer as they are celebrating the building’s 10th anniversary.

VISIT Milwaukee has estimated the production will bring $1 million to the area in salaries, hotels, food, fuel and equipment. VISIT Milwaukee spokesman Dave Fantle says film crews are still negotiating over filming at the empty Tower Automotive site.

Is the Trailer for Transformers 3 really out??

Report by Irfan for ByteloveBlogs

The 3rd and latest installment in the upcoming Transformers franchise directed by Michael Bay is currently in production. Expected to hit the big screens somewhere in the mid 2011, this film is already generating a lot of interest in the virtual world. People all around are taking advantage of this curiosity to generate clicks for their videos and blogs .

One of the leading search keyword for the TF fraternity is "Transformers 3 Trailer". People have wasted no time in capitalizing this opportunity. If you were to do a search with the above keyword on youtube, be sure to expect a lot of results; or mis-results so to speak 😉

Transformers 3 Trailer is still not released on the Transformers official website. The so-called ‘TRAILER’ or ‘TEASER’ for Transformers 3 is just another way for people to have some fun or generate more clicks for their youtube channel or both. In any case we do not get to see the Transformers 3 Trailer 😦

Initially I was really pissed when I browsed thru many irrelevant videos with the title ‘Transformers 3 Trailer’. But once I let my guard down I was able to draw some humor out if it!

I am uploading some of the amusing (and irritating) videos posted by users in the name of Transformers 3 Trailer.
Have fun or enjoy abusing!!!

‘Transformers 3’ Shoot Is A Disaster, ON PURPOSE

•July 12, 2010 • 1 Comment

source : CBS

Report By Pamela Jones for CBS Broadcasting Inc.

Car wrecks. Fires. Explosions.
No, it wasn’t some disaster. It was the movie "Transformers 3." Filmmakers took over downtown streets and turned them into scenes of destruction.
CBS 2’s Pamela Jones checked out the action and talked with one of the movie’s big stars.
The scene of destruction at Washington and LaSalle streets included crunched up concrete and smashed cars -– enough to draw a lot of fans trying to get a peek at Hollywood. They got stars and fireworks, too, as special-effects technicians detonated explosions.
Signs gave pedestrians a heads-up that it was coming, but spectators say they were shocked and awed each time.
"That was awesome!" one bystander said. "The anticipation was worth it."
Fans lucky enough to be at Washington and Wabash also got up close with co-star Patrick Dempsey, who was cast in the movie a few months ago.
"It’s my first day here, and to be on the set is really fantastic," he said. "It’s amazing the size of the production and it’s exciting."
Fans nearly lost it when they thought they saw the movie’s star, Shia LaBeouf, running toward them. One man came prepared with two cameras and got images of LaBeouf and director Michael Bay.
The film shoot continues for the next six to seven weeks in Chicago. Local officials who coordinate the production here estimate "Transformers 3" could pump at least $20 million and generate 200 jobs for the local economy.
